Lighthouse of Hope

Lighthouse of Hope, is a monthly half hour show dedicated to understanding and helping anyone with a mental illness. The show combines the latest scientific research, personal stories and practical advice to help anyone who is struggling with a mental illness. Our guests include, celebrities, experts, people who have personal experience with mental illness, family members affected by mental illness, service providers and many more.

The show is hosted by Michael Hempseed who is the author of the book, Being A True Hero: Understanding and Preventing Suicide in Your Community,

Michael’s academic areas of interest include suicide prevention, childhood trauma, and the power of free play.

Lighthouse of Hope - every 4th Tuesday at 11am and repeated the following Sunday at 2:30pm
