Women on Air
Presented by Ruth Todd, Morrin Rout, Victoria Wynn-Thomas, Joanne Clarke, Beth Clayton, Daphne Crampton and others
Women on Air started as a women's suffrage project in 1992 leading up to the 100th celebration of White Camellia Day in September 1993. It is a radio program by women, for women, and about women coordinated by the Women On Air Trust. Women from all walks of life discuss a wide range of topics.
It empowers and enables Canterbury women to get on air, and learn announcing and programme making skills. The Women On Air Trust raises funds to sustain the programme via advertising sponsorship and fantastic community events.
If you can't listen on a Saturday morning just check out the podcasts available on the right hand side of this page.
