Radio India plays a huge variety of music in the many languages of India, both traditional and modern.
Radio India’s main goal is to keep cultural values alive and reflect India's huge diversity. Born and raised in India, Amrit started the programme when he migrated to New Zealand. He saw people from India trying to mingle with New Zealanders and thought the show would be a great way to create a bond of cultural togetherness. Radio India also supports many humanitarian causes to further its goal of promoting unity.
Amrit says, “One language brings everyone together, and that language is music.”
