Ever wanted to know more about those on the Canterbury Top 50 power list?
Plains FM will be broadcasting five minute profiles of 18 distinguished Cantabrians in the Plains FM Mornings programme, one profile each weekday from Monday 5th May, at 8.30 am.
The profiles have been made by journalism students at the New Zealand Broadcasting School at CPIT. Each student was given a name to research from printed sources before interviewing their subject for the profile, an exercise designed to test their research, interview and production skills.
“This is the second year we have asked our students to do this exercise. Again it has been very rewarding,” says the head of the Broadcasting School, Paul Norris. “Our students have produced some interesting and revealing profiles, which are likely to interest many listeners.”
